Let me shortly introduce myself to you:
My name is MrDerd and if you find this name in a game it is most likely me :D
Just some basic facts about me before I get back to gaming related content. My real name is not as fancy and is Florian. I study International Marketing, but I am nearly done. Besides playing video games, I play soccer in a club and love to be active in general like running, skiing or just meet up with friends. I live in Germany, but studied in the Netherlands and stayed half a year in Finland for my study abroad.
Okay I guess enough of this Florian let’s get back to this MrDerd. If you ask yourself why MrDerd, well that was a mistake, but I stuck with it. I was at a LAN-party over at my friend’s place and I guess you all know the name changing game when you sit in one room with people you call your friends but also want to punsh in the face - in shirt your best buddies. First classy names, then funny names over to insulting names back to normal names. We had all of this stages down not once and it was early in the morning that I wanted to change my name back to “Mordred”. Fortunately I was so tired I missed out the "o" and swapped the "e" and "r" and in game everyone was like dude what is your name? This was the birth of MrDerd.
The way I came into playing video games:
Way back in elementary school we visited some friends in Berlin and my parents friend Willi was playing Stronghold on his PC. I was into knights and all this stuff, so I was fascinated from the game. While everyone enjoyed Berlin I stayed at our friends place and played Stronghold ALL FUCKING DAY. From that day on I was a Gamer. The next big milestone was WarCraft 3 (PLEASE Blizz can we have a new game like WC3?). After that came World of Warcraft and again it was not my fault that I got into this :D. My family and me went with a large group of friends skiing and besides meeting my best friend I heard about WoW and I was addicted before I even played a single minute. Back at home I wanted to buy the game, but no way my parents allowed me to, but after some (some more) discussions they finally bought me World of Warcraft. When I started to play WoW it was the end of the second extension Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich Kings was airing soon. When WotLK finally was live I spend not only every free minute in the game but I also tried to spend more than that on the game and read everything I could to improve. I played some ego-shooter, but to be honest I really suck at them and finally I discovered League of Legends. I did not play since the very beginning, but I started playing in Season 2 and did also my first ranked games, but I really started playing ranked in season 3. I finished season 3 in gold and improved in season 4 into platinum and since then stayed in Platin (God damn it, so often I played the Dia promo -.-). I am a Mid-Main since the beginning, but for this team project I am going to be the Toplaner for my team. Basically I can play any role, but my favorite is by far mid and then Adc>Support>Jungle>Top.
We started to play in a five man squat back in season 4. This is where I started to be the "El Capitano" and we continued our effort till the end of pre-season for season 6 because I went to Finland and also some team members had to face real-life challenges like new jobs etc. Since then I played purely soloq, but now the time for a new start is upon us !
This is how I got into gaming and I love it every since.
Maybe you noticed I left out one of the most important chapters for every one that was born around 1993 Pokemon. Hell yeah I played Pokemon and still play it! What a time that was with the first Gameboy! I started with my bro (Hoinzer thats you :D) from another mother before I could read (Mom, can you read it to me, Mom sure..., but after the 100 time she just said press b it is not important you can skip it and I never started to read what people say in Pokemon :D). My first edition was the red one.
I also like to play PlayStation and had a PS2, but I always stuck to PC since I feel at home there. PC Masterrace!
If you have any question just ask me via your preferred channel and I come back to you :)

The Unit
Fabian aka "Hashtag Günni" is our Toplaner. He prefers tanky champions or bruisers.
Günni and I got into contact via League of Legends as he went to trade school with Whoopdedoo. He is already part of the team for several years. In the beginning he was a main support player, but rerolled to Jungle and now to Top. Everything for the team- That's the spirit! In recent trainings we also got some mascots thanks to Günni as his really sweet cats try to seek his attention while in game. To be honest if the cats are around we win, so keep it going!

Markus aka "Time4Pain" is our Jungler. Time4Pain is an ADC Main, but when we talked about this project and I told him that we are looking for a Jungler he was hooked and became our Jungler. He is an aggressiv Jungler and likes to invade, which is also reflected in his Champion pool where you find Kayn, Jarvan, Eve etc. Markus and I did a study course together and stayed in contact since then. While other may say gaming is anti-social, it helps to stay in contact with friends you cannot see on a regular base for sure.
Kim aka "Pathenon" is our power house on the Botlane. Pathenon is also part of my team for a long time now, but unlike others he stayed true to his role and carried us ever since as our main ADC (Okay to be honest he also gets carried from time to time, but hey). His play style is very versatily as he likes to play it safe but can flip the switch if needed to hyper aggresion. The way Pathenon and I meet is simular to the other stories as he was the friend of a friend and as he joined my team we found out that our roots are in the same village.
Kilian aka "Sentoo" is the newest member to our team and accomplises Pathenon on the Botlane and helps to kick ass down there. His champion pool is very broad as he plays nearly all Support there are but most of the time he plays or has to play Pyke, Morgana or Braum. Sentoo and I met in school for the first time, but after one year of school our paths split again. Some years later we needed a new Support for our team and Pathenon introduced Sentoo to us. After some trainings we found out that we know each other and since then we play League together.
Last but not least is Konsti aka "Whoopdedoo". Whoopdedoo is one of the founding members and at the moment our substitute. His preferd role is Jungle, but besides Toplane he is fine on any lane. In addition to his role as a substitute he will support me with coaching by creating team combos, analysing games and creating new training topics, n short everything there is. Furthermore he is an author on the blog so you will read some of his work. Whoopdedoo is a brother from another mother to me and we know each other for several years now and many more to come!
